We engage with issues of Care and Housing within Communities We provide workplace training and education solutions. Our solutions are scalable training and education for Care and Housing. We promote life long learning and work skills through Intergenerational Volunteer Ambassadors and Professional Consultants.
ABIGAIL NON-PROFIT HOUSING, CARE AND SENIOR ADVOCACY
Abigail Non-Profit provides innovation on active and healthy ageing, and is run by senior volunteers of professionals dedicated to improving access and provision of housing, health and social care in an Intergenerational Intentional Community by reframing ageing, care and housing, and promoting a positive impact in creating smaller affordable housing, co-housing with shared resources in a common club room, office, health and wellness rooms, and high speed internet to be able to work, play, and raise a family in a rural intentional community with support and social services.
HOUSING CARE & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The design is for 5 homes with one bedroom, one bathroom, or two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a three bedroom home with two bathrooms for each pod. The first phase is to complete a working model of the five affordable and smaller homes. Within the 5 pods of 5 independent homes is a Host Home.
A small community requires an interdependence of economic, environment and social issues that enhance natural, land, water, air and cultural resources. Our sustainable plan is intergenerational, anchored with thriving businesses within our community similar to the plan of malls with an anchor store. In our business centre we encourage and support small business enterprise, social entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, skills and second careers, as well as volunteerism within the community and the larger global communities. Our community is continually adjusting to meet the social and economic needs of residents with affordable housing, and improving energy efficiency by the recycling of wastes and utilizing bio-gas renewable energy sources.
